Background

Professor Jumper served in the U.S. Army as a military intelligence analyst from 1983-87, serving tours of duty at the 2nd Infantry Division in T’ong’du’chon, Korea , and the National Security Agency.  She has practiced criminal defense, civil rights, and corporate litigation in state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels.  In the Spring of 2006, she went to Afghanistan to study post-Taliban development in that nation as part of her dissertation research; photos and journal from the Afghanistan trip are posted online at http://www.travelblog.org/Bloggers/Sharon-Jumper/.
